My Approach

Counselling

Counselling can offer an opportunity to work through painful emotions and experiences, and the ways in which these may manifest themselves in the present. It does not offer advice, and doesn't tell you what to do, but it will offer a safe supportive space for you to discover your own decisions and choices in how you want to move forwards in your life. It can enable reflections on past pains and present challenges so to help you make sense of these and understand yourself better.

Person-Centred Therapy

This approach is client led, believing that you are the expert of yourself. The client will navigate through their exploration with the therapist walking alongside you. With the therapeutic relationship encompassing a non-judgmental, authentic and empathetic space for clients.

Psychodynamic Therapy

Focusing on the unconscious mind and past experiences; there is exploration of how they have influenced your present behaviours, bringing them to light and looking at changes you may want to make to move forwards.
